Check swings..

I have no problem with check swings. Waaaaay better than last year!!!
-
I’d much rather most get called strikes as opposed to last year playing guys that checked every single pitch it seemed like
-
I wish there was an option to turn them off. I don't need them and they just get in the way when they auto happen out of the blue.

It’s not perfect but it’s 1000% better than last year. I would rather 90% be strikes than check swing bandits.
EXACTLY!!! check swings were OP last year
-
I like the check swings better this year. My main issue is that the animations rarely match the reality. Half the time a check swing gets called a ball, it looks like they obviously swung.
-
I disagree with so many of you. I don’t play online because of my internet but the original poster of this was spot on. 90% of check swings are now called strikes and it’s so annoying. It should be closer to 50/50 but it’s not even close. Sometimes I twitch on an off speed pitch and BARELY touch the swing button yet my batter goes into an almost full swing that gets called. It’s gotta be fixed
-
doesn't need to be fixed. you need to get better at reading pitches

I’d love it if every time someone pressed X it was a swing no matter what
I wanted this too.

This is why I clicked on the thread. I don’t mind the called strikes. I’m getting too many checking in the middle of the zone, when it feels like I’m mashing the [censored] thing.

I think it is 90% strike every time. I prefer it like last year where it was 50/50 it seemed depending on how long or hard you pressed x.

Well from what i see most are happy with results of the modified check swings. I'm with some of you i wish i could turn it off sometimes because you get those that check swings where you feel you hit the button but for some reason it doesn't swing.
Though my main point that no one has touched on. They told us that we have more control over our check swings and if you double tap the button or flick the stick quicker you would more than likely just flinch. However this isn't the case from what I've seen. It seems there's more called strikes even though the batter barely moves. -
