RTTS Crashes every at bat

Every time I begin a game in RTTS (the same one) it just freezes with the whole field in view and crashes. I played a pitcher game just fine and got a fielding attempt after a few tries, but as soon as a batting appearance happens it crashes. Is anyone else having this issue?

I am having the same problem with my pitcher RTTS. Start a game, it goes through cutscenes, even sims the top of the inning, but as soon as I'm up to pitch, whole field in view for 5-7 seconds, then game crash. What is going on Sony?

Mine isn't every at bat, but it's frequent enough I can't get all the way through a game. Usually I can get an at bat or maybe two, but if I ever get a fielding event or hit something to the outfield, it crashes. I can play other modes fine (even whole 9 inning games in Player vs CPU in Diamond Dynasty, which I did as a test to see if it was just a time-based thing), so it must be something screwed up with the most recent update inadvertently affecting RTTS.
