Yeah, I wasn't very happy with Madden either. Whick begs the question, has any company done sports games well? I honestly don't know.

That's B.S.... Madden gameplay is way better than this game. 1. The game actually works in the evening. 2. You can play a home game without lag. 3. When you complete a solo or challenge it counts... anybody who actually thinks this joke of a game is better than Madden or FIFA is delusional. They both make more money in 3 months than this makes all year... it literally has worked 3 out of the last 10 nights... that is a joke. Seems like first time cross-plat they shouldn’t made so much online connected/dependent. Create a stadium for first year should have been offline only. RTTS like it was. Test those servers, work on new ballplayer, refine CAS then next year go all in with all the info.

I don't know about the gameplay (it's been a while) but TP99 had me chuckling constantly with all the Chork Soda ads, so it might have been terrible but the game had a sense of humour. Sorry this post is actually irrelevant but I've typed it now, so too late.

So a guy didn't win the Madden world championship with a punter at QB? Winning in Madden is just who knows and uses the most plays that Exploit the defense. That is not good gameplay. And of course this game gets outsold by an EA title. Sports games sell very well on Xbox, which in case you didn't notice, is the first year this game has been offered. Comparing sales is apples to oranges. EA makes two sports games, one of which's sport has the largest audience of any major sport by an extreme margin. Of course they make good money. SDS messed up this release, big time, but If you think EA would do better than you are the delusional one good sir.

Yes. and 85% of the issues with this game are server related. Without the server issues this is a fantastic game. If you really feel from a pure gameplay standpoint that baseball games 10 years ago were better, you are entitled to that opinion. But i promise you if EA made this game you wouldn't see anything but bunts and steals online

...so if that's the case in why EA outsells this game.... next year should be even right? Madden made just barely under a billion dollars last year.... how much did the show make? Will the show make a billion this year with this awesome functional cross-platform game? I will be willing to bet The Show doesn't even make a quarter of what Madden makes in 2021 and Xbox is included so that excuse won't work anymore. ...well the servers are pretty important part of a videogame in 2021. Car salesman says, " this is a fantastic car... yes the motor don't work, but that's the only problem with it and if you can pretend to drive it around town, it's way better than those cars you will watch drive by"

Agree 100%. madden online is nothing more than a player retention algorithm. No skill is required and the gamplay is horrible. They havent even been able to get an offensive line to block since 2012. Franchise hasn't changed in the last 5 years. MUT is a money grab. Everything is animation based. Not just Madden, everything ea touches turns to [censored].

All that said sds has been slipping the last few years. Rtts hardly ever gets any attention and franchise sucks. After all the current players retire in franchise you get every rotation and lineup filled with 82 ovr players and every rookie is 30
