How a Very late pitch release shows 100% accuracy 100% of the time. Confusing the heck outta me. Are you God???? Never seen very late pitch releases get any part of the plate until pin point became a thing. What the actual ****.

Accuracy and timing are 2 different inputs, that combine to make the result. Same with zone hitting. You can have your pci dead center on the pitch yet swing very late. As for it it actually being a strike I’m not sure of the answer to that other than to assume it has to do with an x and y axis type of thing

Then what is the actual point of Zone hitting when you can have the same results on directional....Didn't realize an X and Y had a play in the matter. On a late swing, or even a Perfect/very later swing, the results are bullsh to say the least. They just don't match the player attributes....it seems all RNG regarless.

If you’re talking about the feedback it’s a visual glitch

I wasn’t saying that you get a good result from zone hitting like that, I was just saying they are 2 independent inputs that together create the result. Essentially you can have perfect accuracy in your swing (pci input 100%) yet have terrible timing (very late) yes you can get hits like that due to margin of error, but they are rare as compared to good inputs on both. The way I assume pinpoint works is on an x y axis, imagine a cross hair on your location, you aim for a high inside pitch, your accuracy, meaning inside corner, and your release timing being height of the pitch you get perfect accuracy meaning it may be perfectly on the inside corner, yet have very late timing. Instead of your pitch being where you want it, high and in, it ends up being low and in yet still catching the bottom of the zone. Rng is a variable factor, but they have stated this year in online play user input has more affect on results. There are more variables that come into play that affect results, but this is the basis that I assume is used

Except for the guys that have a perfect/perfect input every singe time at bat regardless of where you throw it (even when you throw it in the dirt) and they jack it 590 FT!

Like honesty, 2020 RNG and gameplay is showing it's ugly face! Why is the ball still floating in the strike zone when thrown in the dirt??????
