Pinpoint pitching and stick configuration

I have always used Kontrol Freaks in years past on my swing stick and have been switched back and forth from short to long range for analog pitching. Just started playing with pinpoint and was curious what peoples thoughts were on the difference between a shorter range of motion and a longer range of motion on the pinpoint pitching?

I found it easier to use the taller ones for pin point

Based on the first answer I would say its just something your going to have to try, b/c I'm the opposite I tried tall and short ones, before taking them completely off the right analog stick.

Yeah I kind of figured it was gonna be all over the place, mainly was just curious. Good input though.
