Franchise mode not counting stats correctly

Franchise mode in the Show 21 only counts full game stats for the first 2 games then after that will only count stats for the first 3 innings or the last 3 innings depending on which setting you have on. Does anyone know why this is?

What setting(s) do you mean?
How did you realize this?
