Because these pathetic servers couldn't keep up very good with just PS4 last couple years and now doubling your player numbers and its become a joke to the point where it's barely even playable now. Made perfect sense to me.

I've played the game since 2103. Some people own both sysytems believe it or not. I bought the Digital Deluxe version on Xbox bc Sony is a joke.. so get a life. Even if I was on game pass its still not free. That costs money, you understand that right? Again, you have no idea what you're talking about, Karen.

I've played the game since 2103. Some people own both sysytems believe it or not. I bought the Digital Deluxe version on Xbox bc Sony is a joke.. so get a life. Even if I was on game pass its still not free. That costs money, you understand that right? Again, you have no idea what you're talking about, Karen.
Get a life? What are you 13? I paid $100 too for a game that doesn't even work... the Xbox thing and it being free ($10 a month) wasn't SDS choice.... but they knew it was coming long enough to improve their terrible servers. I have never played an online game that has not worked for this long and especially at launch week... it's just sad... expanding Ruined the game. If you understand hoe servers work, you would understand that too much traffic for a poor server is what's causing this to happen. Everybody loves to bash EA... but at least their [censored] works everyday.

I understand the frustration with the servers. But it will all be smoothed out here soon. All in all, I knew it was gonna happen with cross play and next gen being added. It makes me mad still bc I only have so much time to play, but it is what it is. No one should be mad at all for cross play finally coming to the show. Because it’s better for the game and the sport itself. It leads to a better game and more content (legends) down the road

I don't think it's fair to completely blame the server problems on new Xbox users. MLB the Show has always had server troubles every year (granted, not to this extent), a lot of online services have had to deal with heavier traffic in the past year and a half, students are wrapping up school and are gaming more this time of year, etc. There are a lot of factors and SDS has been working on these issues—the last thing they need is for this forum to descend into a console war.
The game also just released last week, and not every issue can be hammered out right away. That's what patches are for.
No doubt, SDS will learn from this launch and toughen up their servers next year.
