Not on perfect flyballs from power hitters. I don’t expect a perfect flyball from Pedro to leave, but from Ruth it should every time

Too bad SDS and their preview of competitive gameplay said otherwise. This game has very little relationship to actual physics.

Yes. Ruth was no wind. Cap was very little. Carlson was the only one with a significant in wind. It’s not the wind, it’s that competitive isn’t working (it’s not just these results, these were just the easiest examples to use). Casual isn’t working either.

This isn’t baseball, it’s a video game. It’s also a game where SDS created 3 settings to play on, one of which (competitive) is supposed to be user stick skills and not rng. That is what I have the game set to. If you want rng, then you can play on simulation mode. I have a feeling that you don’t understand the modes we can select in settings.

Actually it does according to SDS (*again, we are talking power hitter, not commons). Don’t assume how people want to play their game either. I haven’t heard the top players complaining about getting rewarded too much for good swings.

Actually, I was pointing out a bug that most definitely isn’t working as intended. It’s not exaggerating, it’s making SDS aware of an issue with the game. And instead of people leaving the post as it is for SDS to,either address or not, I get the basement troll brigade that can’t help but comment on everything, especially that which they don’t understand. If you think I’m wrong, go play a conquest game on casual and tell me it’s working right. But you won’t, because you are just a troll. The fact that you and others can’t tell the difference between the sim mode and competitive shows just what caliber players you are.

Perfect flyballs aren’t leaving and opponents have been getting SO MANY hits when their pci totally missed it. So annoying

In the last 2 days I have had 3 perfect flyballs with 90+ power players (lvl4 Ruth, lvl2 Carlson, and my ballplayer) all get caught at the track in conquest games. This simply doesn’t happen online and shouldn’t ever happen with competitive mode selected (which it is). Based on some of the other results I am getting, I am guessing that competitive and casual are not working offline like we were told and all games are on sim again.
When you have time, please make note and fix this SDS (obviously, this isn’t their top priority now, but it still needs to be fixed).
Were you playing the new Conquest map? I just made a thread today about the fielding errors being out of control on playing that new map (could be anywhere but have only played there today), I had like 5 errors in a row on slow grounders. But also I lost 2 games in a row on AS vs the Red Sox today and maybe have lost twice altogether in Conquest gamses before that.. like it's easy on Veteran and AS with a good team. Just felt different today. I was getting lit up pitching too. This 8 hole hitter with 48 power hit 2 bombs off me with a good pitcher. So I dunno.. gonna give it another go here.

Is there a possibility you were just under it? If you hit and get right under the ball its going be bye bye beautiful but slightly under it or too much under its going have bad launch angles. Perfect just means you made pci and timing perfect on the hit doesnt mean the launch angle was perfect
Also how is offline hitting competitive? Its playing against cpu theres no competitor to hit against lol
