So I have been playing for 5 years and have only done the LS collection the last two years. With no XP being gained by doing the collection I am questioning whether the price of LS cards will continue to rise or if they may actually be lower than most years.

Ultimately I am wondering whether I should sell Trout now or keep him. I have had insane pack luck the last two days pulling DeGrom, Bellinger and Trout in the last 12 hours. I need a bunch of players still with only 30k in stubs so just curious what collectors think on the topic.

Trouts the hardest part. Keep him and chip away at lower cards as you need em.

I would keep the players you got from packs. Save up stubs to complete collections.

I mean you have basically completed all the gate keepers from packs (amazing luck). I'd keep them and continue trucking towards the rest. You already got a great head start

I should get to 200k in stubs today, that puts me 135k away from getting to him. This would be the earliest I have ever gotten him but with the parallels this year I'm going for it.

I think I agree. Eventually the low diamonds will get to buy now prices. This year just is such an unknown with new XBox users, server issues and potential stub sales earlier than normal, and the ridiculously slow XP grind. I keep thinking selling Trout and buying everything else might be the answer. I have also pulled Arendao and Mookie earlier in the year, so Cole, Tatis and Acuna are the only really expensive players I'm missing.

Yea man go for the collection. 94 Chipper was used all year until SS Chipper came out and everyone and their mother wanted him but he was near impossible. He legit will be my end game 3B period. Even Soriano should be elite until the end. I never used Papi so couldn’t comment.

I’ve finished every team that doesn’t have a diamond then I’m finishing off other teams as I pack diamond. Only packed Degrom and Shane so might start buying some low diamonds. Not sure yet

I know people say keep trout, but doesn’t it make more sense to sale now then buy in a few months when he drops in price?

I figure once I get Trout and have 50k left over I can just build from there, there's only about 3/4 LS cards over 100k anyways.

He's as liable to hold his price as he is to drop. He's the main gatekeeper to Chipper so he'll always be in demand. If you knock out the $350k or w.e first, the rest will seem cheaper as you grind towards them.
