Or if I do the Yankees collection and get Posada.. lolTodd Helton, Duke Snider and Roy Oswalt. Oswalt was at least pretty good for the first month of the game but there were better cards that you could get for grinding less.

No, once the inning is over it will be locked apparently (including any conquest maps/showdown involved)

The only reason I am considering Lofton is because of the parallels, of the first inning bosses he's the only one i can see making it to end game as a bench bat/pinch runner IMO.
