Stealing Bases

I am getting a terrible jump every time I attempt to steal. I am trying to time it with the pitcher getting set out of the stretch but my runner freezes and then takes off every time (even with guys that are maxed out on base running)

I would not be surprised at all if I am doing something wrong but I was pretty successful on last years game based on stealing. Any tips?
