With the new hitting tweaks official, a suggestion for Showdown

I have a couple, but they're pretty simple in nature
- Make a complete restart free. If you get a terrible draft (4 pitcher diamond and no good gold bats, etc) or fail at a miniboss, you can restart for 0 stubs.
- BUT, you can checkpoint at a successful showdown for the 1k stubs. So if you say beat the first miniboss but lose to the second, you can pay to go back to that previous point. If hitting is going to be less rewarding, at least having this checkpoint can help some players get through
- Guarantee at least one position player and one pitcher in each round. There's no real reason to have 4 pitcher rounds being possible, same with 4 1B or OF rounds
- Allow us to compare stats of players in our lineup to players we're selecting. It's annoying seeing two players of the same position and not being able to tell whether or not they're an immediate upgrade
This is my half arsed attempted at being constructive, please be as cruel as possible

I think the check point idea is great, that way people wont feel like they've wasted a couple of hours for no reward. People will inevitably complain about the mode being even more expensive though.

Just to say, got 4 pitchers on a gold round. I already have my pitchers, give me a chance!

All we need is one starter and one reliever for the mode. Everything else can just be a hitter. Or in the later rounds, have a the option of 2 and 2.

Yes, but clearly they aren't just going to give us pitchers until we pick one of each. Also, just had a diamond with 3 SP and JT Realmuto, and a gold round with 4 P. I really hope some tweaks can come to this mode. It's tough enough getting in the groove with the new tweaks

That could work too. On Beginner/Rookie, you get one token, and with each higher difficulty you get an additional token

What they need to do is give you affinity tickets for each showdown.... 1 per and 2 for the last one ( currently 5 total). So if you get past the firtst showdown and lose the next , you still get 1 TA ticket....
