Anyone ever played FIFA? The show sells just over 1 million copies each year, certainly up this year with the XBOX freebies. FIFA 20 sold something like 24 million copies as will Fifa 21.
Plus FIFA has a massive auction house that totally dwarfs what The Show has with upwards of 12 million items individually listed during peak hours every day throughout the first month at least.

Yeah fifa doesn't do cross platform. I am also guessing you didn't play fifa back in the day when they always had server issues..

I'm not here to make more server sucks posts, but I don't get all this "well, of course you"ll have issue with cross-platform play" as if this is an isolated incident. SDS has had server issues at launch for at least 6 consecutive releases.

BESIDES 17 IT HASNT BEEN A REAL ISSUE. I DON'T RECALL A GAME THAT HAS EVER RELEASED SMOOTH WITHOUT SOME TYPE OF ISSUE THOUGH.

The show always has server issues at launch, but not to this extreme. Typically most years you get booted a few times a day, game is laggy, and there's about a 4 hour window where logging on is really hard. If it were this bad every year I don't know who the hell would pay to pre-order or pay extra for early release.

Cross platform is a good excuse I guess but as everyone points out SDS has this problem every year forever. And "back in day" was true for FIFA but EA clearly got that figured out long ago.
