Id be surprised if he didnt go gold with the first update with the way he has been hitting to start the year.
5th in Avg so far this year
2nd to only Trout in OBP (and one of the only 2 players still over .500)
Top 10 in Slugging and top 3 in OPSI think its going to be tough to not get him the 5 points

The updates aren't based on only this first couple weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go gold just yet. I definitely think he does but maybe not quite yet.

He will definitely go diamond this year if he keeps it up so not a bad investment, just not sure how long it takes for him to get there.

Ya, maybe they just get him to gold by bumping him to 80, but honestly I think he gets to 79 with the first update

You gotta think they aren't nearly aggressive with the updates this year as they were last year. The only guaranteed upgrades IMO are Burnes and Buxton

He will get a bump for sure, I just think Burnes and Buxton are the only for sure tier jumps
