Are you talking about the elimination modes? Only throwing 30% strikes sounds like a good thing to me. Just keep walking.

It's not worth trying to walk much in showdown this year. In my 50 final boss wins I maybe had a total of 20 walks. CPU throws a lot of balls, but once they get to 3 balls some setting kicks in to bump up their accuracy.
I honestly didn't work counts or energy at all like I would have done last year. It's just best to get good at drag bunts with speedsters and to learn to hit.
Also if you have a man on first and less than two strikes you should take any pitch in the bottom of the zone period. Not worth the risk of a double play and high pitches are noticeably easier.

Seems like only first-year Xbox players are complaining about showdowns. These are SOOOOO easy compared to any from last year, but at least servers worked last year.

You'll get used to it and they will get easier. Last year was a nightmare.

If this is on veteran im black... They throw maybe 30% strikes and the strikes they do throw are inside fastballs that are incredibly hard to hit... You also hit a ton of warning track shots with people like joey gallo with 110 power. I don't care that its hard but labeling it as "Veteran" is absurd when the CPU is the best player to touch the sticks ever
mate this is super easy - beyond easy this year - last year was 100X tougher
i have yet to fail a showdown, its easy stubs, its super chill, its on [censored] veteran - there is just no way to lose if you focus

Showdown requires patience and plate discipline. Others are correct about the difficulty. This one is fairly easy compared to some of the showdowns from last year.

I'm sorry but these are pretty easy comparatively. Like others have said, last year was much harder until they nerfed them down.

I don’t think that’s entirely true. I had Lou last year and never made WS
yeah i mean i'm not going to argue with you over something so stupid - conquest extreme / going to WS / getting a flawless BR = all in the top levels of playing in this game

Don't fret, last year with 125 power Trout and Tatis, with perfect perfect flyball hits, I had multiple warning track shots. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Well it’s just not accurate anymore. When conquest Extreme was still conquest extreme sure, but you could restart infinite times last year and the moments are playable till you compete them. It used to be a 20 hour grind that you could need to restart, not just click “restart” and keep all progress.
