    I wanna know the reason.
It is a bad decision, I think.
Wondering how many users welcome that.

Only those with good plate discipline and good pitching I reckon.

A lot of the community asked for it. That's why.

It was something I needed, as I've found out.
I've been exposed, but I'll adjust and find a way.
I found a new way to hold the controller that helps a little. You can still check swing, but you have to be off that button quick!

I haven’t had a single issue with them. I absolutely love the way they work now. I’ve had a couple where I didn’t feel my button input should have been a check but I’ll take the rare instance of that versus dudes check swinging 20x a game without getting rung up

The community asked for check swings to be tightened up and they have been. I'm glad they are this way and hope they stay this way. It keeps people from constantly check swinging

Thank God they changed it. Nothing worse than constantly fooling a batter and have him bailed out by a faulty mechanic.

Most probably because nothing was more annoying that fooling a player and watching them check swing every time and have every check swing get called in the batters favor. Made it impossible to pitch out of the strike zone.

Now people need to learn to recognize pitch and location instead of swinging at everything and relying on the broken check swing mechanic

As a result of the Check Swings being tuned down there are tremendously high Strikeout numbers. Taking the Discipline rating away so that Users have trouble Check Swinging was a bad move for real baseball. Guys are Cheese pitching now and use the toned down Check Swings as an exploit. Baseball has been thrown out of the window online. I'm Striking out double the players I've ever striked out per game. 16 per game, the highest I've ever averaged was 8-10 over the last 6 years.

Because the game caters to the Diamond Dynasty crowd and those people did not like that people could check swings. So they removed a common baseball move from the entire game.
