Does MTO work?

I mean progression; I know if it’s offline it usually gives you rewards on the next connection; but does it boot/ignore progress? Might as well grind those during servers issues.

Be careful with MTO, server issues can cause it to think you quit games and you cant get team affinity points. Happened to me yesterday in the NLDS and I have not quit once.
