If they were half as good at maintaining their servers as you are at making excuses for them I’d be playing diamond dynasty right now.

The pandemic crutch is played out in this scenario. I'd guess they are Azure or AWS servers they are spinning up at their whim and only want so many powered on as that is where the cost lies with cloud servers. I'd be willing to give them last year for pandemic reasons, but not when it comes to building a server or server farm based on data they always claim to have on hand. I do that all day and the pandemic hasn't caused me to all of a sudden not be able to spin up a cloud server or VM or go into the data center and build a server. Plain and simple, their capacity planning stinks.

You don’t have to pay someone to do your taxes, that’s your choice. Just like we made a choice to buy this game. When you spend money on something you expect it to work as advertised.

I'm sorry but this is one of the most idiotic, knee-[censored] "prisoner of the moment" threads I've ever seen on here. The game released on eight different machines and also for the first time on Xbox, let alone for what is essentially free on Game Pass. It's fine to be upset. Honestly, you should be. But to say that "SDS doesn't care" when they have shown to go above and beyond for their customers and fanbase is just bogus. Give your head a shake, OP.

With all due respect, where is your evidence that they clearly care? I'm not seeing it.
I mean, they brought a good baseball game to the console you play on. For free might I add, and you’re still complaining?
Its definitely not free, and really Sony should have offered the same deal to PSN customers, one of the reasons I went with a series X over a PS5, Microsoft offers more to their consumers
