Is it just me or is showdown overly hard?? I can’t do any of the divisional showdowns or the 1st inning showdown and Ive tried at least 3 times. I really want a lot of the FOF cards but I can’t do it

It's garbage with ninja CPU fielders that have warp speed jump and dive animations

Yeah I'm really struggling trying to do the 1st inning one, but I'm not great and add in the Uber defense of the CPU I've lost count to my losses to even the 1st or 2nd boss. Only made it to the final one one time so far. Sucks this is the way to get 75 points after last year you at least had moments that each added. It wasn't all or nothing

Waste of time . Over 1 hr to lose in the final and only get 3 stars for my time. I would rather do moments .

Yes they are kicking my [censored] too. I hate them. However this board is just going to tell you to that it is your fault and that they are easy.

Yup I swear it’s best to just try and draw as many walks as possible play small ball . Being overly aggressive and swinging at pitches down the middle that u are supposed to wanna swing at doesn’t seem to work when 80% of the time it’s a fly out for a easy out.

yeah, only way you can survive is being super patient and draw tons of walks.

Don't you know the CPU have all gold glovers!! Forget what their real ratings are, cause against you they are super human!! Lol -
i am finding it a pain in the [censored], makes me not want to play, when you see streamers having issues with it, thats a sign, that normal players are gonna have issues too.

I am 6-5 in the division final showdowns, but I can agree that the all diamond cpu defense needs to go. It really is game breakingly annoying and completely unfair.

I'm 1-1 in Divisional finals, but I'm 1-30 when facing the second miniboss. I want to parachute, but with one of those cartoon parachute packs that's filled with a toaster and a turkey dinner, so when I hit the ground there's a hole in the exact shape of me

Me too. I was excited for another mode to play offline but sadly for me it is an exercise in frustration. Another year of conquest I guess bit it is getting old already.

I'm sure for some that is true but I don't enjoy playing it because it is frustrating. If I felt like I had a chance I'd keep coming back but sadly I'm about done with it.

As all have said, patience is key. I figure the cpu throws approximately 45% strikes (compared to mlb average 62-65%).
The thing is, until you knock the pitcher confidence down below half, most of the strikes will be pitcher’s pitches. In the longer battles where you have more outs, this is less of a problem than when you have, say, seven outs to beat Scott Oberg, or whatever.

On showdowns I went 5-7 pre-patch. Since, 0-4 and they all go something like this..
I just played the 12 outs against Charlie Morton and had 3 perfect perfect outs, 3 good squared, some good/good and some good/okays that were better than my perfects. Had 2 bad swings the whole showdown and failed. That's not difficult, that's rigged. I could eventually work around this and be fine if I committed some patience and willingness to get [censored] on, but I feel bad for "casuals" or guys that don't play as much and want to try. They must feel like they're up against the world. -
This mode is pure [censored] [censored]. 15-15 with 12 outs and and the game royaly [censored] me. Pure trash. Thought i would have learned the first time playing this mode. Fix this garbage.
