unequip player bug

i have been having issues over this past week trying to sell my players. when i try to sell them they say to take them out of the squad and i do and then it still doesn’t work. this is happening to me and my friend. can anyone help?

Check your event lineup. Even if you haven't played an event, it will auto-generate a lineup and you have to change it.

Are they in an events lineup? If they are it won’t let you sell.

The issue is usually that you have them equipped in your event lineup.
