Best Approach to NMS

Thanks for the replies. I have mostly done Conquest and Moments so far but haven't dug into Team Affinity rewards much so will look into that. I feel like I'm in a decent spot with my current lineup, but desperately need pitching as I have Diamond Bob Gibson, Gold Luis Castillo, Gold Charlie Morton and then nothing but bums. My best relievers are gold Taylor Rogers and the silver Pedro Martinez closer....

Definitely do Team Affinity. There are a lot of great early game cards there.

Any recommendation on which to do first?

AL West and then do AL East. You can get Gallo and Yordan Alvarez and some pitching help in Luzardo and then you get Bichette and Stanton for the East.

Sweet. Thanks for the input.

Grinding showdowns for TA. Doing moments for free packs/cards. Doing conquest maps for goodies. And work the market, work the market l and work it some more. Using your phone to work the market on the website is your best friend when your not on and playing. I’ve made close to 150k in the past 24+ hours by using my phone. Take advantage of the website if you can
I knew how to play the market VERY well in MUT...but it obviously works different here. Unless I’m missing something, there doesn’t SEEM to be the same oppty to make a lot of stubs quickly...although you’re clearly stating otherwise!

Yeah I did pretty well in MUT as well, but I am not very familiar with the ins and outs of the market in The Show. I also understand very few people are willing to share "here's how I made my nut" on a public forum lol.

Yep...Its an easy concept...but low and sell High...but in MUT it was easy to make A LOT knowing HOW to play the market when ppl were ripping packs. That doesn’t seem to be the case here (This is my first time playing DD).

Buy low sell high is right.. Since the show has just dropped prices are very fluid. Watching the trends from week to weekend is key. Pay attention to when roster updates drop. You can really earn some stubs by loading up on someone who is gonna possibly go diamond, but as the year goes on more and more people catch on to doing this. You could load up now on guys that are low risk but have a high reward down the road. Examples could be Dylan Carlson and Emmanuel Clase. Just to name a couple. Playing fantasy baseball helps me be tuned in on a lot.

When flipping know when content is about to drop!! People will have a fire sale to grab new content and some prices of things will drop a lot. You don’t wanna get caught with your pants down. Lol just be aware. But at the same time you can also grab things that you see are low knowing they are below their average prices.

I’m just gonna say this. You DONT ALWAYS have to flip CARDS to make a profit. Explore all your options...
Hope this helps! Happy flipping brothers

I played DD in The Show 19 but skipped 20. Looking for any input on the best way to approach gaining stubs/XP for a guy who is getting back into DD, not wanting to spend much or any money at all on stubs, and can only play for a couple hours a couple times a week. Any advice is appreciated.
showdowns and events pal is the way i've been getting a great team with 0 need to buy any stubs - i started with 10K from the pre-order, and have made tons since then - hope this helps you - be patient in showdowns its no stress if you are calm and focused
