Questions about RTTS

So I have a question, and I ask this knowing some people are definitely just gonna comment “get good”. I’ve been grinding RTTS since i got it on the 16th. Progression is slow but oh well I’ll get over it. But here’s where I get frustrated. I’ve played well every season as I’m now starting my 4th season. After my first or second season when I resigned in the off season my contract said AAA starter. I assumed I was getting bumped up to start the season. But low and behold I’m still in AA. So I’ve played 2 more seasons leading the league in every offensive category outside of steals and and walks. Resign in the offseason as an AAA starter and they offered me like a 12k bump in salary. Start my season and boom I’m still in AA. I truly don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. No one else seems to be stuck in AA this long even some of my friends who aren’t performing as well as I am. I’m not blocked by better SS. The Braves let Dansby Swanson go and they didn’t even have a SS on the major league roster. I was tied for the highest SS in the org at 63 OVR. Yet here I am not even called up to AAA yet. Anyone have any thoughts?

@xCHIEF-CHUNGUSx_XBL honestly dude just expect every aspect of this game to be broken in some fashion until they release a patch and even then we need to hold our breath.

@xCHIEF-CHUNGUSx_XBL dude honestly, I don’t know how you’re four seasons in already but my best bet would be just give it a break for a couple days until an update gets released unless you wanna keep wasting years of your players life in the minors. Are his stats actually improving with the perks or no?

@Gmoney-1234_PSN do you mean like are my rating for my ovr improving or line my in season stats? My ovr rarely moves. Every rating seems stagnant. And my season stats have gotten slowly better throughout time but you can only play so well when you only improve like 2-3 ovr throughout a season. When it shows your xp after the games idk if mine is tracking correctly. My buddy was already 11 after like 2 seasons and he’s not out playing me by much if any and 4 seasons in I’m still only like lvl 9. I also get an error after most games saying “an u expected something something” the game honestly just seems to be in shambles

Unexpected something something is actually a Something of importance. Uexpected server issue is the msg. That will prevent you from getting rewards. So yeah kind of a big deal to read and double check your connection.

This sucks for Xbox users,... best sports game for years and they destroy one of the best modes the year Xbox users finally get it... right now RTTS is completely broken. No clue if or when it’ll be fixed. Might not be really as I doubt the cap issue and progression will get a hard patch

The main progression system (archetype missions) for RTTS is bugged for many, if not most, players. If you have not gotten the option to choose a new higher level archetype then your issue is that you are bugged too.
If you are trying to progress simply from the in game boosts and training opportunities then you are running on a treadmill. That is not the intended to be the main advancement method.

Yeah I definitely checked into it now that I understand a bit more. My archetype missions are bugged as well as much of my progression for programs. I’ve resorted to playing diamond dynasty to get some Stubbs until they figure out wtf is wrong with the game I preordered for 85.

Yeah I just finished my first season in AA at a 61 overall, lead the league in hits, average, slg, ops etc... at the end of the season after playoffs I received a 1 yr 77k contract for AAA.. Start up the next season... Still in AA... Really not sure what is going on

Here is what I've learned.
Make sure your archetype and perks "fits" your position. Each archetype lists what position its recommended for.
Do the progression bug fix (work around) in DD (i posted a video in this forum somewhere)
Delete all of your loadouts except for your default one and spend your stubs on equipment and perks.
