Nah not defending SDS...it is ridiculous with the servers..however i do think people in here take the complaining to an unreal level.

Nah not defending SDS...it is ridiculous with the servers..however i do think people in here take the complaining to an unreal level.
Honestly not enough ppl speaking up at all is one of the problems. Also I could not find a single article or review about the game that made any mention at all of these huge server issues, stub loss, market issues, all of the bugs, Ballplayer/RTTS broken, etc. I just looked through about 5 or 6 reviews and didn't see anything said about issues. It's crazy.
There's a reason SDS isn't even acknowledging these massive failures because most ppl do not get on these forums or would know it's broken, so then ppl continue to buy the game. I mean even if you had read game reviews from all these "reputable" companies you still wouldn't know. It's just f*cked up. I would much rather be playing than on here bitching about not being able to play. -

I don't see it as defending SDS. People would absolutely complain about whatever response they get. They did a blog post about the RTTS errors and people complained that even that was not enough.

I haven't seen them say anything on here since the game released, or acknowledge on Twitter that there are any issues at all other than some stub BS. Their main concern now is microtransactions. Now more than ever apparently.

Full disclosure I am an Xbox player and a lifelong baseball fan and a former player. I was super excited for the release of the game on Xbox so it is mostly my disappointment and displeasure with the game.(I pre-ordered the JR edition to play early)
Obviously the servers were an issue I left out but it is honestly palpable to say this is just an underestimation by San Diego Studios to me it seems obvious that it is just that the developers and production teams were lazy. The fact the don't respond to any criticism and have yet to address any concerns about their game is proof of that.
All aspects of the game are turning into their own minigames.
I have not noticed any difference in the swing types except that the only one that seems to have any form of consistency is the A/X Swing.
Pitch speeds just don't make sense an 80-85 mph slider takes 3 full seconds to reach the plate and doesn't break properly (even with Diamond Break secondary perk that I have equipped multiple pitches do not seem to function like they do in real life) I used to throw a slider that would break 8-10 inches to the outside part of the plate. The 12-6 and KCRV are jokes both of those pitches just look like eephus lobs over the plate.
The servers being so terrible is what is not making the stats translate, for me most of my games make no progress towards missions or challenges.
I am still going to play just hoping they make significant changes

I'm usually not one to complain about a game design flaw, or some mechanic directly with the game that can always be fixed. However, when it comes to server stability... there is 0 reason to have server stability like this. I thought EA was bad, but this takes the cake.
