Inconsistent?

I’m currently 12 - 12 in this event.... I went 2-8 to start then 10 - 1 and now am on a 3 game losing streak...does anybody else play that inconsistent? Or do the baseball gods just shine done on me at times and at other times are just right disgusted with me.
Aside: how are the ratings calculated in the event standings? When I started 0-5 I was rated .500 and now that I’m 12-12 I’m rated .000

I am sometimes inconsistent, but it's not a surprise when I am. When I'm tired I don't see the low pitch well. When I can't tell whats a ball or a strike I stop playing.
Also, distraction is a big factor. If I'm watching someone on Twitch, I play worse. -
I started off 6-1 and ended up 10-12. I say ended because I only wanted two vouchers.
The event started off playing so well for me. Eventually it turned into the familiar slog of RS.
Leaving aside conspiracy theories of the game being tweaked behind the scenes, the majority of people still playing this year are very competitive.
I think the quality of your opponent has a lot to do with the inconsistency, not to mention the periodic random pitching outcomes. -
Sometimes I’m inconsistent. Sometimes I’m not. It’s really not very...consistent.

Inconsistent is my middle name. In RS I made WS for the first time last season, surprisingly I made it pretty easily considering I was barely able to crack CS before that. At the start of this season I made it it to 850 with maybe 1 or 2 losses....
Current Status: almost falling all the way out of DS...
I almost put the game away for good a couple days ago.
