Can't Create a Catcher

It would be the year where we finally have the Jordan Catching Gear, that I can't figure out how to create a catcher.
Yes, I have the catcher archetype equipped. I purposefully deleted all of my loadouts except catcher. Started a new RTTS save and still not given the option to play catcher. I even simulated to when the agent asks how do you feel about being a 2-way player, still nothing.

Right after they draft you and you have the first meeting with manager he asks you what position you want to play. It is before you are even put in the locker room for the first time. What position are you picking there? The only reason it would not be included is if you are a lefty.

Thank you! I'm sure my player is a lefty, because the first player I made was a left handed pitcher. Once I get off work, I will try again.

Why can't you be a left handed catcher? I use to play catcher and was left handed. Might I add I did awesome as well lol.

in majors they don't use left handed catchers do to most batters are right handed and would make it hard to throw out any runner trying to steal 3rd since batter would be in the way more then right handed catcher

Lame reason. I did fine throwing people out. I just took a step back threw behind the batter. Majors is a different story though I'm sure.

I know its sad that left handers like me is locked to only outfield, 1st, or pitcher its main reason I didn't play baseball because I always liked SS and couldn't play because of what hand I throw with
