It's like this every year. Last year I ran into 2 99 mantles the 2nd day of release. Also it takes more than a stacked squad to be good.

There's two types of people that load up stacked teams on opening weekend.
Sponsored streamers that are good/great players and are in a rush to win, create content and show off shiny cards first.
The other type is a guy like me. Somebody that has a lot of resources, plays for fun, and doesn't GAF. I really don't care what anybody thinks about me having uber cards. Sure as hell doesn't make a difference on Veteran and All Star opening weekend. If anything, RNG monsters hurt those shiny cards for the first week.
What I tell my kids. Don't worry about the other guy. Handle your own business and you'll be fine. Things work out.

I have an all Diamond team! I only spent $10 on packs because my gf was dying for me to open a 10 pk bundle for her (Didn't pull a diamond) lol. I have about 12 42 series players. Go on Showdown IT IS VERY EASY! you can do a few and get diamonds easy, i recommend going for Gallo and Perez first! Quit complaining about the gameplay, this is why we will have a hitting patch tomorrow and it will ruin the game for the rest of the year. Remember you are playing on Veteran/ Allstar not HOF or Legend. Let the game be out for a month and then make recommendations. Instead of whining about others having diamonds, trying grinding the team affinity and you will have plenty of Diamonds for FREE!

Until the top players and top spenders get separated out by ratings, you will have to suffer through some beatings. It happens every year. Generally, sure, its rough to face all diamond teams if you are one of us rolling with our golds, but its how it goes the first few weeks. Things will be WAY more evened out once the early access period is over.
My advice is to stick to CPU modes and build up your team offline,....at least until tomorrow when the game fills up with more casual players. Right now, you are playing against the most hard core fans of the game.Playing against the best players can be frustrating and demoralizing, but i try to challenge myself to last another inning, or score a couple of runs. Try to look past the final score and fight for different victories. Its just a part of playing a competitive game.
When ive reached my limit, i just go back to conquest and offline game modes. There is plenty to do.

I go the game this past Saturday and I have grinded to get a full diamond and gold team if u manage ur time right u can get that full diamond team

OP is complaining about people spending money on the game, but if he is playing during early access that means that HE spent more money than he needed to as well. If OP was truly NMS then he should have waited until Tomorrow and bought the $60 edition.

This thread is filled with babies man! Either play or don't. All diamond teams are expected this early. Put the grind in if you can't afford to buy players or quit whining and hit dingers with your golds.

Mad people went out and spent their recent stimulus checks on stubs me personally i like the no money grind wouldn't spend anything more than purchase price on this hunk of junk legit 2 days in and I've been hit with network errors more times than i can count lol
