Does anyone know the correct archetype path in order to get a diamond catcher as your primary position? I’ve grinded my ballplayer to a diamond SS by just playing him behind the plate for putouts, but he definitely has plenty of fielding errors and can’t slap a tag down at home for some reason when the throw beats the runner by 5+ steps... If anyone knows the correct path to end with a diamond catcher primary position please share, it’d be greatly appreciated!

I’ve worked all the way through slick fielding and both diamond archetype options are for a SS.

I am just going to finish my diamond shortstop to get the diamond perk to use later on and then I’m going to start grinding the other bronze archetypes to see if I can find a silver with the primary position being catcher. Don’t really know what else to do other than that, until someone actually knows what one you’re supposed to work on.

I still cant figure out how to build up your ballplayer. Is it only in RTTS or can you do it in DD?

Mine still shows that he is a 65 overall, but his stats definitely reflect otherwise.

We’re your 2 diamond SS options Mechanical Man and Wizard!? I was really hoping diamond Mechanical Man would be the C. I am 20 points in on gold Mechanical Man.

Also same question. One would have thought that progressing with the bronze catcher archetype would have led to silver, gold and diamond for catcher but apparently this is not the case.

I think the reason they are making so many errors is the fact that the card is "technically" still a 65 Bronze, so while he might have a decent fielding rating, his bronze rating at a secondary position gives him horrible animations. I am guessing this gets corrected with the next patch, along with many other things.......
