Maybe you didn’t bring it up but you contributed. Of course it’s relevant to this thread. Any argument made about them tweaking check swings too much to the detriment of the batter is met with some assortment of “learn more discipline or pitch recognition”. It’s possible to have good pitch recognition and plate discipline and still point out that check swings are much less likely to go in the batter’s favor.

Well, it's not really relevant in this debate, and I wasn't the one who brought it up. But it's the truth, yes.
Maybe you didn’t bring it up but you contributed. Of course it’s relevant to this thread. Any argument made about them tweaking check swings too much to the detriment of the batter is met with some assortment of “learn more discipline or pitch recognition”. It’s possible to have good pitch recognition and plate discipline and still point out that check swings are much less likely to go in the batter’s favor.

Look man. If they were able to tweak it, they would've done so last year. They didn't, even though basically everyone was complaining about it. So my genuine advice is to accept it for what it is and stop touching the swing button when you don't want to swing. Everything else that came from this is just a ugly and unnecessary back and forth.

All I know is that your crying won't amount to anything, SDS isn't exactly known for taking feedback and implement change as a result of that feedback. Let me explain something to you; the people who cried for this mechanic to be completely overhauled or completely removed are the ones who don't spend a dime on this game but belong in the upper echelons of competitive play. I’ve been playing this game for a very long time. It just cracks me up how guilty and defensive your comment was. I’m also not interested in continuing to argue. I’m not crying. I didn't do either of those things, I told you my perspective on the issue. Then you came up with some ridiculous argument about SDS catering to those who spend money while in this particular case it's actually the exact opposite and you yourself are proof of this. You have casual written all over you and here you are complaining about this decision. I haven't heard a single top player complain about it yet, because we asked for this the entire year. And like I said, the top players don't spend real money so that argument was 100% wrong and all you could counter with was "LMFAO".

I always thought it was an overblown complaint but even if it’s true, it’s possible they over corrected the problem. That is what we were arguing. And that gets met with ad hominem attacks about our apparent lack of skill at the game.
