I've came up against 99 Ortiz twice in six games. Needless to say my gold Luis Castillo gave up some dingers.

Dude, you have unrealistic expectations. Play events. Most people avoid ranked right now because they are building a team. GAME has been out 4 days........... are you serious right now?!?! It’s not pay to win... they have so much free content... it’s just like steroids... still need to SQUARE up the pci... a million double AA boys juicing that never made the big leagues. ***hands you some tissues

Mad people went out and spent their recent stimulus checks on stubs me personally i like the no money grind wouldn't spend anything more than purchase price on this hunk of junk legit 2 days in and I've been hit with network errors more times than i can count lol

SDS made a mistake releasing so many Diamonds and cheesy players it should really only be live series players for the first month at least. Being 11-4 every [censored] team I play now has a purchased team of all diamond. But of course all they care about is making money if they were smart they would’ve gone the madden route added a salary cap to rank seasons or added some restrictions per division rating but no SDS is full of lazybones non-innovative thinking money grabbers. The game is in a pathetic state where is pay to win is in full force. On top of that the input is as worse as ever as I’m seeing so many homeruns where the PCI is not even on the ball going out specifically on the inside pitch.
How can you have a whole year and you’re number one mode the only innovative action you take is to make it easier for everybody and add parallels? really no team chemistry? no salary cap? no nothing! just the same game and us waiting for a new content to spend our money on thinking new players will make us better at the game or give us a better chance of winning it’s all a lie.
It is literally the same game and we are just waiting for content now somehow you even made the perfect perfect sound worse than before and don’t even get me started on the menus.

First off, EA is the biggest money grab franchise of them all, the gold standard of pay to win. Secondly parallels, aka prestige from last year, was completely changed because of all the dashboarding from last year. I will agree that chemistry is a thing that has a big influence in athletics, but baseball is probably the sport that depends on it the least. Last but not least, there is NO salary cap in the MLB, so why would you implement it in an MLB video game?
Pretty sure some people have said it already, but maybe ranked seasons isn’t where you should be starting your playing experience at yet. I personally haven’t touched any online modes yet, partially because of the stubs lost from buy orders fiasco, but events or BR is where I’d start before ranked. I can understand frustration, but your argument lacks evidence to support your claim of them being a “money grab” company. Although there are plenty of things to complain about with SDS, they are the best at being able to make a competitive team with no money spent.

Only way to prevent early God Squads is suspend people's credit/debit until all have access to the game but that way is so unrealistic! Honestly, if I 'had money' I'd buy top players as well. I thought about getting the 67, 500 stubs, but thought of better uses for $50.
I still have no itch to play RS though. I don't know if that's good or bad. -

I haven’t played ranked yet as I’m still building a team. They touted stick skills to be more prevalent this year. Is that not the case?

There are bigger problems than all diamond teams. That doesn’t mean anything, I get sick of shutting a guy down and then out of the blue in the 8th inning everything they hit is a hit or bomb.
