Purchase Trevor Story and power swing with every hitter. 0-1? ■. 0-2? ■. Vs Cole? ■.
The button didn't work last year so I was forced to go back to pressing X all game, but holy moley, it's pre-June patch 17 power numbers.
Wait ..so power swing with other hitters only if you have Trevor Story?
No, just purchase Trevor Story cause he's gonna be one of the greatest SS of all time. Beyond that power swing with everyone.

Trevor Story is a completely average hitter outside of Coors though
That's like saying Javier Baez is an average hitter. Is Javier Baez an average hitter?

With all due respect to Ikasnu, he’s one of the very few guys I respect on here. Always willing to help out, very respectful and opinionated.
But yeah, he thinks Story is God’s gift to mankind

Nah, not really
Trevor Story outside of Coors:
.250/.313/.443/.756
Javier Baez:
.270/.310/.484/.794
Baez is a superior hitter -

Why would I ever use a single season sample size when comparing careers of very similar lengths. They're both good SS, but Story gets an obvious boost based on where 81 games are played. That disparity in Story's splits raises very credible questions. Similarly to a Todd Helton, though Helton went from being a very good hitter on the road to a GOAT level hitter at home.

Lol I'm just biased and hate the fact I can't argue CoOrS. If I'm being honest here, completely honest, if we trade Nolan I want Trevor to go to a big market team where he would have a chance for a WS. I'd love to see him become a mainstream MLB star, but he takes the backseat because of where he plays.
Baez is definitely better on the road, but I'd wager he's only better in two categories. Average and fielding ability. Trevor has better speed + power and I'd say they're about even when it comes to their arm.

To be clear, I'm not trying to say Story is bad, he's not. He's well above average defensively at a premium position, and a great baserunner, which may be the most underrated facet in baseball(Coming from a Chase Utley fan, I know how crucial baserunning is). Oh, and Coors doesn't apply to Larry Walker.

I just plugged Adelberto Mondesi in at SS and he went 3/4 with an RBI in his first ranked game, so he’s got the job for the moment.
