@halfbutt_psn said in How Ballplayer programs work???:

Hey, I can’t even figure out how to choose my ballplayer’s position, so there’s that.

When I did My Ballplayer before RTTS my player was based off of whatever Loadout I was using. Sparkplug primary was second base. I wanted to try him there so I didn't even look to see if he was available at the other "Sparkplug" positions. When I went to RTTS and actually went through the Tutorial, I got to pick the Primary Position I wanted to play at.

they literally ask you what position you want to play lol you select outfield or infield then they ask yiu which specific position...i selected first baseman personally. however, progression is horrible...should not be this slow

+200 Cosmic Karma points to the first person that can tell me how to get Catcher as my Ballplayer's primary position (not Secondary) in DD.

Make sure all Sliders are default (all at the middle level). I was not receiving any points but with this adjustment and the just dropped update (PS4), points started to accumulate normally. I hope it continues haha!

Did you have to create a new save file as well? I’ve done all the tutorials and have the default sliders but still no progression!

I think I fixed the issue for me. It was one of two things...

    1. If you haven't entered DD yet, do that and complete the tutorial

    2. I made a completely new settings profile and never touched the sliders menu.

Since then I have been getting progression every game.

Also, progression is slow bc it only goes up 20 points as everything maxes at 50. So it's really not THAT slow. The cards are what will make you 99 OVR.

Are you seeing progression for the road to the show missions though? I did all that and although my player is progressing the missions won’t.

Hmmm...seems pretty inconsistent. It is still working normally for me. All I did was adjust the sliders to default. Haven’t entered DD yet. They need to fix this!
