I never got the whole obsession about the check swing in this game. That being said, it’s basically impossible to check your swing now. I think I’ve gotten a no swing one time since I’ve been playing 21.

Thats strange because I can confirm to you that I’m still able to checkswing.

I can check swing but it is very rare and unrealistic. That being said I dont mind it this way if it stops people from complaining about checkswings. IRL baseball I check swinged almost every pitch lol. It was just a rhythm thing. MLB players do it a lot too.

I didnt say u were not able to check swing anymore. I said check swing CHEESE is gone. Strikes are ACTUALLY being called on checks on this seasons game! I love it!

Yeah but at this point every check swing passes the plate supposedly they need to balance it out

About 50/50 for me which I think is great. Last year, might as well just call it a ball instead of of checking in with the umpire. Was probably 98% ball then

SDS and other sports games have a horrible track record of balancing anything out. Leave it be and let the play base adjust.

I think they went too far in the other direction. Now every check is a strike. To me, that’s equally broken.

Exactly. For the sake of argument let’s say there were too many no swing check swings last year. I don’t think the solution was to make it nearly impossible to check swing this year. I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve gotten a no swing called on me this year.

I do think a change needed to be made for online player’s sake. They just went too far.

I don't care. This isn't real baseball, it's a video game. I love it when all the swing happy scrubs will no longer get bailed out by faulty game mechanic. Been lobbying for it all year and now y'all gonna have to develop some actual skill. Good luck!
