How do i link both consoles so i can play on both?

Ive got a ps5 and xbox series S so im buying the show jackie robinson edition on ps5 tonight , They said i can cross-progress and use the same diamond dynasty on both consoles so is there anything i need to do to link the account for both consoles? Or do i just sign up with my show account when i start the game?
