Lol that's just not true. If you complete the showdowns every entry you actually make a few stubs, get some packs and it's a super easy path to the diamond FOTF player at 50 TA points. You don't have to do a single player exchange. They're not that hard either, people perceive them as hard because there's pressure of failure, but it's just veteran difficulty lol.
lol it's not Veteran lol....They mess with the sliders lol.....Only pitch speeds are Veteran lol....
It's easy bro just be elite at the game lol
Whatever you say friend. To me they are definitely on veteran.

Cpu pitchers on veteran this year are very stingy with hittable pitches, and I am being kind.

How about this. They make you pay 1000 stubs per RS game, and if you win you get 1200 back? If you lose you get nothing. I think that would be fair.

We already have a online mode that charges stubs and you get nothing if you lose, it's called BR

I wasn't pointing it out because I like paying it, I'm pointing out the entitlement mentality all these offline players have. They haven't removed it from BR for years and the people who play it don't pitch a fit. There is good rewards, it's easy enough to make your stubs back. Yes there is the occasional failure
I've failed this 1st inning thing 8 times, I haven't completed it yet, but I haven't "lost" any stubs because they made it incredibly easy to make them back + more.

If the game was free to play, and they had pay modes that is one thing. I paid for the game. Feel free to pay for BR all day long if you like. I am not paying them to play a game I already paid to play. It is people like you that allow this kind of thing to be successful, and gives them incentive to do more of it.

This dudes argument is irrelevant. You get stubs by playing the game .... in all modes, therefore that “fee” to play br or showdown is technically still free unless you paid for stubs. Hell you get loads of free stubs from missions and moments and reward streams....
If he thinks he shouldn’t have to pay, then he shouldn’t ever use his stubs. If he uses stubs for anything then he fails his argument. Buying that gold card? Nope, it should’ve been free so he doesn’t deserve it unless it’s a postgame or daily drop... lol

Then clearly I suck at the game and need to git gud, because I have failed to do 1st inning Showdown in at least 6 tries now, only made it to final boss 1 time.
I play on Allstar normally vs CPU, can win on HOF, and play conquest almost exclusively on Veteran to win 99% of the time. But in Showdown I clearly just suck at the game. Pressure isnt even it, my last time out i was failing the non elimination missions too.
I'm not saying make it easier, I am saying it is a real kick in the balls to work for 2 hours only to fail on the final boss and have to start over. I'd gladly pay another 1000 stubs just to get a redo on the elimination rounds. Hell I may even pay 5000 stubs.
