Until we get a patch on pitching, I think I gotta try meter. Has anybody tried meter pitching and had good results?
Analogue is the wild west rn, at least on my end.

Analog is money for me - Ive been playing offline. Is the analog issue due to online lag?

imo that's not what It feels like at all. Outcomes aren't consistent based off of input. I'm having less issues offline, but still witnessing some problems on HOF/Legend. It's just completely different pitching online vs offline.

Pitching is an absolute nightmare this year lol. Other than that, the game is great.

Do you use meter or analog?

Always analog. I’ve been using it too long, I can’t imagine using something else.

Always used analog however I switched to meter, which I used for a time period before. Meter makes no sense...you hit perfect and will still throw balls even if you aim down the pipe, it’s trickier than it looks, some pitches/pitchers do better when you don’t use full power, or even just mixing the amount of power you use on the meter changes the break/speed. For example if you aim a slider away to a righty with a rhp, and you hit late on the meter with max power it’s gonna go to the dirt, if you’re too early it’ll hang with max power, however if you’re early and have low power on the meter the break will be a lot bigger and sometimes will back up creating a perfect strike on the inside corner. There’s definitely tactics to using meter pitching, you just gotta figure out which timings work best for the type of pitch you’re trying to throw. I throw way more effective high fastballs when I’m early on the meter and aim kinda middle to high, this makes the ball end up above the strike zone but it looks like a strike.

Other notes: meter is very hard to use if there’s lag and when you combine that with a long wind up you could also become very wild and walk a lot of guys or just get behind in the count, however for analog it feels even more frustrating because sometimes you feel like you move the stick in a direction but it still registers as down the pipe.

I am strictly a meter pitcher and trust me its no better, Analog was everyones go to last year for better pitch accuracy, so if analog is useless as well than pitching is f@#$ed this year....but hey how about that new perfect/perfect swing graphic?
