PCI placement gods I need your help.

I just want to start by saying I'm not the worst at pci placement but I'm also not the best. Anyway i just want to ask how some of you pci gods consistently put the pci on the ball. Me personally, I like to keep the pci down the middle and react because when I put the pci in a specific area, I tend to not be able to cover other parts of the strikezone, or I over compensate and move the pci way to much. IDK if there's any thumb exercises i need to do or something but what ever advice you can give me is greatly appreciated.

They have incredible reflexes and hand eye coordination.
Here's a simple exercise to improve both.
hold paper money in your hand, value dont matter but a worn/used bill is better. hold it so that all your fingers are straight, now put the ridge of your hand (index finger/thumb) is on your forehead with index finger near your hairline.move your hand away so that your arm becomes straight(without changing height of your hand) when ready let the money go and try to catch it with your other hand( other arm should be at your side. try and get it before it drops below the level of your jaw.
This will improve both your reflexes and hand eye coordination.
Oh also best done in doors, wind is not your friend in this circumstance. -

What Raesone said is absolutely correct. If you can learn how to not slam the pci you’ll become an elite hitter....This is my problem as well. I would much rather get a pitch high or low in the zone or even slightly out of the zone rather than in the middle of the strike zone because I always over shoot the mark lol

I've been saying this for years, my favorite baseball game was All Star baseball, the PCI worked this way, and my PCI placement was so much better on that game.

No mouse and keyboard would not work in the show because of how the pci reverts back to the center— this stops mouse users from being able to use a mouse option because mice are free roam. So if you were to try mouse and key board with a game like the show. The pci wouldn’t move fluidly — it would jump and jitter
However if you took that spring back to the center movement away then mouse users would abuse the game. — imagine being able to point and aim a mouse as a pci on a ball? You’d have mnk players making top 10 in WS easily.

Imagine taking a guy like rebel who already is the best player in the world hitting .400 and then giving him a mouse, dude would be hitting .800

I don’t know who your referring to, but hitting .400 with all players is already an issue. Letting people decide how their pci operates would not be the problem.

Mouse and keyboard in other games is entirely different imo. Being able to point and click a mouse to the ball takes. ALOT of skill away from the person and turns the game into a point and click option. I hope they do not go this route I think the hitting and the way they do the pci and zone is original and skill based and should be conserved.
It also my opinion and I know some people don’t agree — that this should be the only option. And like I said I understand people do not share this opinion.

I also think zone users should be able to adjust the movement speed of the pci. Free roam plus speed adjustment. Doesn’t make any sense to me why they don’t let you guys do that already. It’s like playing a shooter and not being able to adjust look speed. Ridiculous oversight if you ask me.

I’m pretty sure the reason is to stop modding of keyboard and mouse using. It would be a significant advantage. Some games console ban you for using MNK - it’s literally cheating in certain game builds.
