I am enjoying all of the game features. Showdown was tough for the 1st Inning challenge and it took me a few times but I enjoyed it and will be back for more.

1stvinning was easy the NL Eastis a mfer. All slow batters and degrom is a god with all the confidence and line outs

I'm seeing a ton of threads about people having so much difficulty with Showdown and I honestly don't understand why they find it so difficult.

Would I be wrong to think that there are just as many people out there like me who are genuinely enjoying the mode and concept and are happy with the medium but not too difficult level of difficulty?

I'm loving the Showdown as well. Need some skills. Alot of people not liking it I bet are cheesy players..Last year all I heard was skill should be rewarded..Not a delay in hitting swing and ball is fouled over or very late and kill into death with Gwynn or Ichiro. Nothing in life is perfect my Nationers, especially video games..This game is pretty [censored] close..I know everyone knows how other games play and alot of the fckin crazy things that go down. This pales in comparison. I think some forget that failing at the plate 75 times out of 100 will get you a .350 BA and the batting title..Some of you guys are delusional. That or you want a MLB Jam or something.

Brah... that’s a 250 batting average and gets you a bench spot.. this mode is great but the confidence on pitchers screws it. That and the fact that 7! of your batters likely have 45 speed

I like Showdown. It would be great if there was something similar where we can use our own DD team.

I could not pass it as I was way out in front of everything. This leads me to believe that there is a problem with the timing, in my opinion. I was way out in front of fastballs on All-Star and so I moved up to HOF. Same thing there. Then Legend, same thing there. Not sure what's going on. I think SDS need to fix the timing window slightly. I was not good enough to play on HOF or Legend last year but this year I am way out in front of fastballs!

I just hate how much you get cheated vs the cpu in general this year. They make EVERY diving play and half my squared up and perfects are lineouts to an infielder for a double play...

Showdown ramps way harder than rookie Halfbutt. Gets interesting actually.. You really think SDS is going to let that be easy?? Conquest has ramped up this year. Not running through them..Started putting those steal fans on AllStar now..CPU was giving me fits on HOF this year..lol..You seeing that about conquest at all?

They need to reprogram the drafts to be built around your needs. If I have a gold SP but a common catcher you should not be giving me 4 pitcher rounds
or if I have 3 silver or better OF you shouldn't be giving me more OF options unless they're clear upgrades

No need for 3 red fail challenges.Only the final one should have a boss challenge

The cards you get now are amazing, so I like it’s difficult.

Ive been more successful on hall of fane than this showdown mode. Ive attempted 1st inning probably atleast 20 times. Im confident the mode is half fixed until the game lets you finally complete it.

Agree 100%. Im here to build my DD team. If you want a mode to draft a temp team and play, thats what BR is for.

I like the concept, I completed the AL East last night in 1-2 hours. They seem fairly easy, a little challenging. I’ll try them again to get that Gleyber Torres.

I think my problem is when playing vs cpu I fall into a lazy mode of playing. I am relaxed. i am working the market on my computer. I am listening to music. I am watching tv. For the final showdowns you have to be more zoned in I think. Well at least for my skill level I guess.

I'm starting to get it down now. I did the 1st Inning and the NL East. Gonna probably do a few more NL Easts until I get Soto, then move on to other divisions, but I just gotta be patient with it and I can get through the minibosses
