I was playing a br game and almost every time the other player hits the I catch it, but when I throw to first base it throws the ball to home instead. I also had a frozen screen when looking at controls and the game keep going, and sometimes the is a delay in input when I press a button to throw the ball that player won't throw until after pressing the button several times.

First I would recommend using button accuracy for fielding, gives the best accuracy. For the 7 years I have been playing this gave every year there are delays so I'm kind of used to it at this point. For fielding B is first, Y is second, X is 3rd, A is home and then whatever LB is a cutoff. Idk if you're just misclicking or if your game is just being dumb and throwing it to the wrong one.
