My thoughts on competitive mode

I’ve recently become more of ranked player, I don’t really enjoy it to much, I can in to the 700s, but far too often I loose games where I have two outs in the 9th and whatever runs I’m up by I give that up in late and bloop and then watch crushed for game winnings homer... At this point I ask myself did I really enjoy this experience. Not ripping on my Opponents here, I don’t understand why this happens so frequently...

No one understands! Every hit your opponent gets seems to be a perfectly placed ball in the gap or just out of reach, if not an error. The game online makes no sense at all!!! It's pure stupidity at the end of day., I doubt they will ever change it.

You aren't!
I mean, you’re hitting under .200 with a record almost 100 games under .500 at some point it can’t always be the game

Well over 100 games under. What is your point?? I can destroy the game against the CPU on legend but just can't seem to catch up to the pitches online you idiot. I have a perfect internet connection and yet the ball comes in 10 x faster on allstar than it does against the cpu on legend. I see what I see. I'm not stupid. The game caters to certain players.

Legend vs the cpu is easier than online.. why do you think when people practice offline they Jack the sliders up to the max? there’s also a whole host of other things when playing online

It shouldn't make a difference! The game is the game! Timing should not make a difference regardless. That's all I am saying.

Timing is different because cpu on legend is easier than online.. timing windows are smaller pitches are faster

then that is just plain stupid! How can one get better at timing on-line when you can't practice with on-line levels of play???? That's just pure stupidity!

Whenever I lose, it is definitely the game, but when I win, it is definitely me.

Does anyone actually use directional as is?
raises hand
In online DD?
I only played a handful of online DD but yea.
My point is for an online competitive mode, using directional is a massive disadvantage, so I don't understand why it should be banned.
Don’t care about directional persay the implementation of directional was a huge turning point for zone. They made zone more random in order to balance directional gameplay.
Think about it a directional hitter should never win a game. It’s literally putting chance into an equation. Now if you are using zone and you line out let’s say 5 times and I hit a homer on directional ... what decided that homer? Just an algorithim. There is no sense in allowing directional for online play it will ruin the overall gameplay. Directional should be a casual only hitting interface.

Algorithms decide everything in the game. It’s how all software works. Player provides input, algorithm decides outcome based on input and other variables, game provides output. Don’t defame algorithms! They’re only doing their job!

You get better by playing online, Offline pitching will not spam pitches you can't hit and offline playing lacks input lag, simple!

That's all it's about is an algorithyim! It not about who's on time or what say you. It's about stupid RNG and everything that sits behind it! Nothing is going to change it, none the less the progress behind it! Like the idiots above me said, it's about sliders and RNG, not about gameplay or anything that makes sense!
My goodness man take responsibility and get better, it’s not always the game. Eventually, when you’re hitting under .200 100 games under .500 you have to look in the mirror and not at the developers

Do you want to get better or keep complaining that it’s the games fault? Right now it seems like the latter
