Is the Online ID name change safe for MLB The Show?

I was going to change my online ID, but it tells you that its possible to lose access to paid for content (I just pre ordered MLBTS 21 a few days ago). Am I going to lose the $60 I paid to pre order, my playstation plus subscription, anything? Is it 100% safe?

I changed mine a few months ago and I didn’t lose my PS Plus subscription. I don’t know ahout pre-orders because I didn’t have any at the time, I don’t think you will tho
