Timing Window confusion

I don’t understand for the life of my how this works.... I have monitor with 60fps and 1mm response time and high speed internet.... But why some games can I perfect perfect and make great hit everything, then some games it’s a late on everything, even though I’m swinging at the perfect swing plane in my monitor... I try to to adjust, but it just becomes a nightmare..I try to adjust then it tells me I’m early, so I sit back for what seems like and eternity and it stills says I’m way to early.I don’t understand how timing window works. Am I missing something besides the baseball.

I ask myself the same question a lot, I can only think that if u match up with somebody with internet the latency increases because SDS uses P2P. I can’t assure you that because I’m not a tech guy, I don’t quite well understand how everything works.
If you’re the away team it’s even worse.
