It’s a video game for gods sake. Stop acting like this is supposed to be real baseball. I’d you can’t handle minor glitches here and there, go play something else

It's a baseball sim. What the heck else is it supposed to be if not real baseball?

I mean be careful with that line of thought. We don't want it to be completely like real baseball. That's how people justify lineouts and such.

There is a fine line between real and video game, and I don't envy SDS having to try and tight-rope walk that line.

Honestly, if I could upvote the above post more than once I certainly would!

I understand both sides it is a video and it’s supposed to be fun, but I also know sometimes the game has a mind of its own it seems and it feels like your fighting it and your opponent at the same time... I lost 4 ranked games tonight; one I played bad, the other was back and forth and my opponent got rewarded and I didn’t in 9th. it sucked, but it was a good game so you move on... Two of them I should’ve won, but the game was game felt like it was doing everything in its power to make me lose, typical stuff we complain about and have seen time and time again and that’s frustrating for a competitive game... Usually I load up another one and hope I get the luck, but losing rating points for things out fo your control is frustrating. So I get it both sides.

Not that I disagree that the game isn't in the best spot

But there was only 1 P/P out in that game by Trout, why exaggerate?

That’s a different game— the game I’m talking about was a friendly quit actually. But nice try.

I actually had 2 perfect homers yesterday I was shocked. Cus it rarely gives me a hit on perfect feedback

Minor glitches? No. The game needs a complete overhaul. I’ve played this game for nearly 15 years it’s gotten better in the sense of content and worse in the sense of gameplay.

Sorry, don't believe you. I don't play much 20 at this point. But the claim that perfect rarely gives you hits is such a gross exaggeration. They def fall more then they don't. There are plenty of things to point to on why 20's bad and for some reason you've dug your heels into the sand on a giant exaggeration about perfects.

You can believe what ever you want it is a fact.

Is perfect perfect always an out —no. But it’s About 60% a hit which is a low percentage for a PERFECT contact pci placement. It should be about 85-90 if the ball is in the zone. I think those percentages should change if someone is chasing a bad pitch etc.

I can’t even count how many perfect outs I’ve gotten in this game- it’s a big reason I stopped playing it.

First of all, even if it was 60% a hit, (I think it is higher, but that's not the point here), that would hardly qualify as rarely, which is the wording you used in a previous comment.

So wouldn't you call using the word rarely exaggeration?

Yes it was an exaggeration to make a point.

The point is. The game is dull.

Overall to be quite honest...the game is slightly better then it was months ago though I do notice some improvements. Not as many foul tips from any swing at any ball. Which is a positive improvement — I haven’t played the game consistently in awhile until the last few days and it is def a little better then when I stopped playing.

All I want is a competitive game. I want to earn wins and be outplayed for losses. That’s all I ask of this game. I can’t say I’ve felt this game was that was since maybe 17?

I don't disagree with anything you state there

However, the exaggeration wasn't needed for the point, it's often used to make a problem seem bigger than it actually is. There are plenty of things to point to without stretching them is all I'm saying.

I hear you. The game is frustrating.

Something happened that I’ve NEVER seen today. A perfect perfect foul ball...

Then of course another perfect perfect to end the game...although that game particularly is my fault because I struck out a lot and didn’t have much good contact besides a few.

The games that bother me are the ones that I DK everythjng right and never get rewarded
