Mid-Play Disconnecting [a.k.a. "Dashboarding"] - Getting Worse?
-
In the first six to eight months of playing The Show '20, I'm pretty sure that I didn't get cheated by disconnection even once.
Over the past eight to ten weeks, the situation has been very different, with disconnection cheats becoming rampant.
Looking at the past two weeks or so, by my best estimate I've been cheated out of a dozen home runs and about 25 RBI. That is ruinous to the game experience.
And yet, so far I have gotten precisely zero responses from Support regarding the stats I've been cheated out of or any action being taken to address the issue.
At the very least, they should be fixing statistics and punishing those who engage in this petty, childish nonsense.
It's legitimately an issue which affects whether or not I decide to play.

Dude you’re posting the same stuff every day. We get it, it sucks, everyone knows it’s sucks, nothing we can do. You got the win, move on and let it go.

nah, I've gotten dashboarded like twice this year, and I'm at like 450 games played this year. I used to think that I was dashboarded all the time in like 16, but then I got better internet and it turns out it solved a lot of problems. I don't know your life story, but perhaps you should look into better internet and use ethernet if possible.

And its literally called people closing the app out of frustration so there's nothing you can do, so just deal with it, that's all any of us can do.

I'm not complaining about the quitting aspect of disconnecting before the ball lands, as should have been obvious. I dislike quitting in general, but I get it and have done it myself on rare occasions.
I'm discussing what some here refer to as 'dashboarding', the disconnection by an opponent before the end of a play, thereby eliminating any statistics earned during said final play.
If you don't believe this to be a problem, there's not much I can say or do to help you. One thing which has fascinated me for many years online is the behavior of someone who feels it necessary to join a discussion merely to say that they aren't interested in the topic.
