Some people will try the strangest things to win in this game.
My latest event opponent chose a really good glare stadium. I won’t say which, but it was an MLB park during the day and sun was such that I literally could not see the ball in the top half of the zone.
My opponent had Paxton on the mound (what did James do to be so popular with cheesers?) and was spamming high fastballs.
He managed to K my first two hitters, but somehow, Ortiz hit a dribbler to left to beat the shift. He kept spamming high cheese and Bellinger blindly hit a perfect two run shot.
My opponent was too smart for his own good. I doubled with Anderson in the third, and when I struck out with Tatis, he waited to complete the putout at first and tried to catch Anderson at second. Of course, I was not going anywhere at second so Tatis reached. Lol.
He went back to spamming high fastballs, alternating top of the zone with way above the zone and Bellinger again blindly doubled to center.
I had to bring my second baseman in and survived Ortiz running into a groundball with his head, but closed out the win.
Sometimes it just doesn’t pay to cheese.

Paxton and other lefties can tunnel the release point outside the batters eye in parks like Laughing Mountain. They think it gives them an advantage.
All it ends up doing is making them predictable. Depending on your hitting view, the advantage is removed or negligible.
-
Yeah, I posted elsewhere about Laughing Mountain and Paxton. This was an MLB park and it was a lot more obvious what my opponent was trying to do..
I honestly can’t believe the extent he went to, but yes, once it became clear that he was going continue pitching like that, I pretty much just sat on the fastball at the top of the zone, even though I couldn’t see it.
I’m currently hitting with sz2.

Are there any visibility issues with ballparks at night, or is it just during the day? I've been trying different ballparks lately but have been keeping it locked to October 7pm so it's dark. I would prefer not to run across one that frustrates my opponent (or myself).
-
Lol, he only plays there as the home team... at 7pm probably June or July... what a douche man
-
I know what park it is...have faced Sale there during the day, can’t see a thing.

Pretty brutal. All the more reason I was so stoked to scratch out a decisive win.
Sale would have been a nightmare.
