I have a PS4, but plan on getting a PS5. Which version of the Jackie Robinson Edition should I get?

The Jackie Robinson Deluxe Edition comes with a current gen hard copy and a next gen digital copy. I do not currently have a PS5 but I plan to get one when they are available and I would want the game on the PS5. Should I get this version? Does the PS5 game code expire or will I be able to keep it until I get a PS5?

You should be able to redeem the code when you get your PS5. Most of the time, there is an expiration date for digital codes. It's usually 12 months from the release date of the product.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if you don't have a PS5 wouldn't you still be able to just claim the code using the store on PC/Mac? If so, then it would be stored on your account with your owned games and you would be able to download it once you get your PS5.

    That does make sense. Thanks.
