Most folks seem to have most every card they want at this point, at least those that post on these forums. I thought you might be on that category. Bat skins are a waste of stubs IMO but to each their own.

Holy moly, I just sold Juan Pierre for 1,000,000. I think I bought him at 60,000 a couple of months ago.

Any word on some new packs or programs to get these cards? Or remove the vid cap? I've been away for months and the market and game seem dead. I'm sticking with this version going forward for several reasons when I get the baseball itch, be nice to have some way to attain these cards.

Only a waste of stubs if there are better things to spend stubs on. I have every card in the game, so I now have every bat in the game, and still have over 4M stubs that I can’t spend. SDS made some bad decisions toward the end of the game, especially with unlimited RIB and TA4 that has led to the craziness in the market

I’ve tried cards but the reason I bought a bat skin is because the expensive cards don’t look/play good so yeah to each their own no worries.

I could sell both Glavine and Ed Matthews for a million each. Problem is I don’t wanna wait until February to get another card. There’s a line for Ted, there’s a line for Donaldson. He!! There’s even a line for Johnny freakin Bench! I got no problem spending the stubs but I’m not waiting in line.

This year seemed easier than any other to not only obtain stubs but also bank them. I’ve had 2 mil sitting in my account for forever now it seems. It’s a mix of stub sales and easy stubs that made these players basically un purchaseable at this point
There is no "seems easier" about it. You could make a couple mil strictly through team affinities in like a week

There is no "seems easier" about it. You could make a couple mil strictly through team affinities in like a week
I have to personally say SDS made the pandemic easier for me to clear my mind of everything else... frustrating at times absolutely but never had so much fun in a sports game

Wonder if a trade feature similar to Madden Ultimate Team would help things. I have 99 Casey Mize. I could offer to trade him for another 1mil card like Chipper, Wagner, or Feller. I don’t play much MUT and don’t fully know how the trading system works there so this is just a general idea but who knows? Maybe it could work.

I don’t think SDS would ever consider this. If they did it would be a scenario in which both parties lost Stubbs and SDS is the ultimate winner!!
