The only problem I see with this is
A. You would have to add a pack with only those 2, as they are the only 2 non-diamond event cards, and that would be almost pointless to do
B. Add them to the current event rewind pack, in which case they just take up slots that could be Betances, Dozier, Bumgarner etc. and wouldn't be chosen anyway
I get where you are coming from, but I don't think there is really a good way to add those 2 back in supplyJust make them 10 win reward and like a 15 win reward instead of a pack.

If it's ever a sellable card, you certainly can. You come along late, or don't buy them when they are available, then you really can't complain later when you can't obtain them. Or maybe you just have a problem with the word outright. If so, eliminate it and the thought remains the same.

You certainly can complain later. SDS implemented limitations that work as the sole reason this is happening. Something that wasn't an issue in the beginning.
You cannot purchase a card that is by definition "out of stock". Late to the party or not, if there is an absurd line, guess what? You can't purchase it. Especially outright.

Very impressive. Your point is taken and I agree that I certainly should have bought them earlier. But at that time I didn’t have the stubs to spare, nor did I particularly have the goal to collect every card. I was simply focused on building my team the way I wanted it, which included saving up for Wagner, Mize, etc.
I’m just looking at what they did with the diamond event rewards in the Rewind Pack and wondering why silver Machado, gold Kendall, etc. should be excluded from the same type of thing. The waitlist and stub order cap makes them impossible for me to obtain otherwise, and I don’t think it’s a terrible thing to allow those like me to obtain these cards in mid-December.

I get what he’s saying. It’s that I should have bought them earlier, when they were available. Which I agree with in principle. But I don’t think any cards should be flat-out impossible to buy, which these are now.
Plus there is precedence for SDS rewarding players who didn’t do due diligence in stocking up, and I’ve got burned the same way (e.g. them releasing all kinds of free PS and TN packs, screwing investments).
But the issue with that is that it’s not like people are stocking up on these cards for a big return. Their prices are maxed out, so anyone with those intentions have already sold. So it’s not as if people like @dcmo3 have something to lose if SDS employs my idea. But he’s acting like he does and seems against the idea. When in reality, nobody should be against the idea.
