This is the best sports game

For all the issues the show might have it's still the best sports game by a mile. When it comes to an actual sports simulation games like madden or nba 2k are so pathetic. In most other sports games you have to tweak a million sliders to even approach something vaguely approaching reality and even then it's still bad. This game may have some problems but as a baseball simulator it's about as good as you'll ever get compared to what's out there.

Agreed. I do get frustrated with this game, but sometimes I have to remind myself how this game compares to other sports games. I don’t have to mess with sliders, it’s not lousy with microtransactions, it’s the best on the market!

100% agree. So much so that I dont even play madden or 2k anymore. Havent played madden in probably 4 years and this is the first year I didn't buy 2k.

For the last 4 years my most played game has been 2k. For roughly the decade before that it was Madden. I just came back to the Show this year and as a veteran of those other two games, The Show is far more rewarding in the grind for free cards as far ahead in actual gameplay. Its not even close. This will be the first year in at least 15 years that Madden or 2K wasn't my number one played game. I can't wait to jump into the Show from day 1 next year.
