What do you think they need to add to this mode?

I think this is a good mode for offline players like myself. I played this mode hardcore earlier on in the spring/summer then I forgot about it. I think it is a good mode now that I'm playing it again with my third team. But I'm curious how can they make it better next year? What can they add?

They need to give us full control. Basically combined this and franchise mode. And allow us to play 10+ seasons. I loved this mode in last years game. But the fact it was basically a gimmick to get us to play DD ruined it for me. Couldn't have any control. So it got boring quick. Sure the rewards at the end were fun. But if my internet disconnected, I decided I didn't want to finish the game whatever. The rewards were taken away. Which made finishing the season even more pointless.
For me, I have to see big improvements to this mode and RTTS. If not, I won't buy this day one. I'll wait until I can get it used and save a few bucks. Because like you, I'm an offline player. I could give two shits about buying card packs, building a team and playing online. Offline gamers have been ignored the last couple years.

I’m with you, franchise and RTTS are the best. MTO is a good idea but the DD incentive compromises the gameplay.
I’ve only ever played Franchise by playing every pitch but I do like the MTO idea and enjoyed playing it except the predictability.
Have you played franchise with critical situations on? Would basically be MTO without the dodginess. I wonder if it’s worth a go.

I’m with you, franchise and RTTS are the best. MTO is a good idea but the DD incentive compromises the gameplay.

The funny thing is, if they actually improved franchise and RTTS.. I'd probably play DD more. Still wouldn't play online. Because well I hate online in sports games. But because I'd enjoy the other modes, I would spend more time as a whole playing the game more. I think I put a total of like 105 hours into MLB the Show 20. Might even be less then that. Most sports game I put probably 300+ hours into in a full years cycle. It was just boring as hell.
I never thought of trying that. It could be a work around if they don't do enough to improve MTO. Def have to give it a try. Franchises modes are fun. But baseball season is too long lol. I never get more then one full season in. Which kinda defeats the purpose of building a team. I like to start fresh every year and play with correct rosters.

The ability to play more than one season with a team. I actually love the mode, but I want to be able to continue building my team and not play a full season in franchise after that.
