Honus or Mondesi

Using the 98 ovr Mondesi at SS right now. Debating on switching to Honus. Is he worth making the the switch from Mondesi?

Haven’t used Honus, but Mondesi is money. His speed causes chaos.

Full-time ? Honus, Mondesi's swing is cracked but you're not catching me out in ranked with 65 power vs righties the entire game.

You could roll both if you have one at 2b - and there can be arguments that both are better suited for 2b if you have a card like Tatis.

I didn’t end up gettting Tatis. I have Mookie at 2nd and he’s been tearing it up. Hard for me to take him out.

I think red honus is better than Mondesi and therefore gets the start at 2nd. Mondesi gets to hang out on the bench with Cobb. good thing tatis can't play in this event so both Mondesi and Honus get the nod.

After using Honus exclusively at short for the "US" event, he is the best player in the history of the universe.
P.S. I say this having never used Mondesi.

Mondesi has that bunt cheese, that even if you don't use it your opponent has bunt in the back of their mind. This usually leads to them throwing out of the strike zone several times to get the count in my favor. Versus lefties he rakes but he has some holes in his swing. Honus is clutch though and is much better at making contact. Hard to pick just one. If stubs are an issue stick with Mondesi. Honus is atleast an end game god squad bench player. He will always be on my active roster.

Bro this is the entire advantage to Mondesi. No seriously, this is probably the biggest contributor to why he is the best card in the game.
Vs LhP, murder the baseball.
Vs RhP feign bunt, draw 2B in, and contact swing. Defense plays deep in the OF.

On All-Star or lower Mondesi is fine but once you hit HOF you definitely want Honus. Mondesi’s pci becomes an issue at that point.

There both great using both currently, I initially held off on the Jram collection and took Fox but SDS gave us an unlimited supply of stubs so I decided to try both and my only regret is not trying them sooner they are both awesome and versatile with very little weaknesses

I have both. I'd give the edge to Honus. Hes just so good, mashes everything, and has defensive versatility. I'm currently using both in the event with Wagner in LF and Mondesi at 2B and I've done well with both. You can't really go wrong with either, especially with as someone said above me the abundance of stubs this year....
